Stella Maris Undercover Court Complex

We are pleased to provide an update on our proposed Undercover Court Complex. The project has now reached an important milestone, with detailed design and cost planning substantially advanced as we move towards seeking both Council approval and final approval from Brisbane Catholic Education for this self-funded development.

This exciting project has been designed to support our growing school community and provide students with access to high-quality facilities for physical education, sport, assemblies, performances, community events and learning opportunities throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions. In addition to the covered multi-purpose court, the project includes new male, female and accessible toilet amenities, dedicated storage facilities, audio-visual infrastructure and a modern canteen, that will significantly enhance the functionality of the precinct for both everyday school use and large community events.

The project is expected to cost approximately $7 million and will be funded through a combination of school resources, community contributions and donations. The school continues to work closely with our architects Towill Design, consultants and Brisbane Catholic Education to refine the design and ensure the project provides exceptional value for future generations of Stella Maris studentsWhile there are still several approvals to be secured before construction can commence, we are encouraged by the progress that has been made.
